MANEVUM is a prepaid, consent-based emergency property-rescue platform operated by Eviction Property Rescue LLC, a single-member limited liability company based in Chicago, Illinois. In this policy, "MANEVUM," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Eviction Property Rescue LLC. This policy explains what personal information we handle when you visit manevum.com, enroll, or communicate with us, and it applies to all users of the website and service. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the site.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to provide the service. This includes: identity and contact details (your name, email address, phone number, and mailing/property address); enrollment details (home size, occupancy, rent payment day, quoted amounts); the names and phone numbers of the trusted contacts you designate; access details you provide for your property; your responses to wellness check-in messages; and case records created if your enrollment is ever activated (including inventory, custody logs, and rescue video used as legal evidence of the service performed). We also automatically collect basic technical data when you browse the site, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, to keep the site secure and working.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: create and manage your enrollment; compute your quote from the details you declare; notify your designated trusted contacts of their designation; verify an activation request from a trusted contact or a county referral; send monthly "Everything OK?" check-in messages around your rent payment day; coordinate the moving and storage service with our licensed partners; process your payment; keep records required for legal and tax purposes; respond to your questions; and protect the site and our users from fraud and abuse. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal effects about you without human review.
4. Payments & Card Data
Payments made through manevum.com are processed by Stripe, Inc., our third-party payment processor. When you pay, your card details are collected and handled directly by Stripe under Stripe's own privacy policy and PCI-DSS security standards — MANEVUM never sees or stores your full card number, CVC, or bank credentials. We receive only limited confirmation data from Stripe (such as the result of the charge, the card brand, and the last four digits) so we can identify your payment and provide receipts and refunds. 5. Text Messages & Communications Consent
By enrolling and providing a phone number, you consent to receive service-related messages from us, including notifications to your trusted contacts, monthly wellness check-in messages, and updates about your enrollment or case. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us; note that opting out of essential service messages may prevent us from providing the service. We do not send marketing spam and we do not share your number for third-party advertising.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service: with the licensed moving and storage partners assigned to your case, limited to what they need to coordinate with your trusted contact and complete the rescue; with service providers that operate our infrastructure (such as Stripe for payments, our hosting provider, and our telephone/SMS provider), bound to protect the data; with your designated trusted contacts, to the extent required to activate and carry out the service; and with authorities or legal counsel when required by law, to comply with a valid legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of a person or of MANEVUM. If our business is ever transferred, information may pass to a successor under the same protections described here.
7. Data Retention
We keep your enrollment and account information for as long as your enrollment is active and as long afterward as needed for our legitimate business and legal obligations. Case evidence (video, inventory, and custody logs) is retained for seven (7) years for legal protection, consistent with our Terms of Use and Service Policies. Data from domestic-violence cases is sealed and handled under a separate protected protocol (Service Policy §10). When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
8. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the website, restricted staff access, and confidential handling of property access details, which are used only at the moment of activation. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to notify you if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, as required by law.
9. Your Rights & Choices
You may ask us to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may update your trusted contacts, rent payment day, or check-in channel at any time by contacting us. We will honor these requests to the extent required by applicable law and consistent with our legal record-keeping obligations (for example, we may need to retain certain case and tax records even after a deletion request). To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
10. Cookies & Tracking
The site uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed to keep it working and secure, such as maintaining your session and your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising trackers to build profiles of you across other websites. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; if you do, some parts of the site may not function properly.
11. Children's Privacy
MANEVUM is intended for adults arranging services for their own household. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date below, and material changes may be communicated to enrolled users. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
